• Washing – preferably by hand in lukewarm water (approx. 30°C) or in a washing machine on the “wool” cycle with a mild detergent. Do not rub or wring out the blanket to avoid damaging the fiber structure.
• Drying – always lay flat on a towel. Avoid tumble dryers, radiators, and direct sunlight.
• Everyday use – Merino does not need to be washed frequently. Simply air it out to restore its freshness.

Washing instructions:

Hand wash:

• Recommended washing method.
• Use lukewarm water (approx. 30°C) and a special wool detergent.
• Wash blanket gently, avoiding vigorous rubbing and wringing.
• Rinse in water of the same temperature until all detergent is removed.
• After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing.

Machine wash:

• Select the wool or hand wash cycle.
• Set the temperature to 30°C.
• Use a special wool detergent.
• Set the spin cycle to the lowest speed possible or skip it altogether.
• Wash the blanket separately or only with other woolen items to prevent pilling.

Drying:

• Do not dry the blanket on a radiator, in the sun, or in a tumble dryer, as the high temperature and weight of wet wool can distort the fibers.
• Lay the blanket flat (you can spread it out on a towel to absorb moisture).

Other:

• Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Do not iron. Merino wool does not require ironing, and high temperatures can permanently damage the fibers.
